Taking up the early experiments with Alfons Schilling concerning binocular perception, the development of Video Sequencer was inspired by the desire to further analyze the image forming process as subsequent depiction of individual frames. The tool enabled that the two fields creating the image frame can be treated separately, the digitally controlled switching between two sources being tied to various parameters like rhythm or sound vibrations in various rates. Switching process could be triggered by vertical impulses of video or by outside audio or video signal generated by different tool.
